Financial Aid at Mind Body Institute

Mind Body Institute participates in Title IV federal financial aid programs to help make massage therapy education accessible and affordable.

Federal Student Aid

  • Federal Direct Subsidized Loans
  • Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loans
  • Federal Direct PLUS Loans (for parents of dependent students)

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for federal financial aid, you must:

  1. Be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
  2. Have a valid Social Security number
  3. Have a high school diploma or GED
  4. Be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an eligible program
  5. Maintain satisfactory academic progress
  6. Not be in default on any federal student loans
  7. Not owe a refund on any federal grants

How to Apply

Step 1: Complete the FAFSA

File your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at fafsa.gov

Step 2: Review Your Student Aid Report (SAR)

After submitting your FAFSA, you’ll receive a Student Aid Report showing your Expected Family Contribution (EFC).

Step 3: Complete Entrance Counseling

First-time federal loan borrowers must complete entrance counseling at studentaid.gov

Step 4: Sign Your Master Promissory Note (MPN)

If you’re receiving federal loans, you’ll need to sign a Master Promissory Note.

Step 5: Accept Your Financial Aid Award

Review and accept your financial aid award package through our Financial Aid office.

Important Dates & Deadlines

  • Priority filing deadline: Apply early for best consideration
  • Verification: Additional documentation may be required
  • Renewal: FAFSA must be completed annually

Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)

To maintain financial aid eligibility, students must:

  • Maintain minimum cumulative GPA
  • Complete courses within maximum timeframe
  • Meet attendance requirements
